London, December 2014…

My dahling of an other half is the most creative person I know – he does pretty much everything, from branding to videography. He recently donated his old Canon 600d to The Morris Foundation (that’s not a real thing), as we’re off to Dublin next week and I wanted to be able to take some shots of the city for myself whilst we’re there. And because, anything he can do I can obviously do better…

Joking aside, huge thanks to him as he’s been extremely patient whilst I learn about things like shutter speed and aperture, and demanded he be my model on innumerable occasions. We’ve just been down to London on business and, not being able to sleep, we snuck out into the city in the middle of the night and had a snoop around, taking pictures of the natives.

I’ve always loved the way that cities make people act and look. This is especially true in capital cities where the culture is so prominent, and the stereotypes are everywhere you look. I think a rainy winter’s night is such a cool time to take pictures, because of the way the lights shine off of the streets (cobbled, preferably!). Anyway, here are some of the shots I took. Some London, some Londoners, some us, and some of the car (?!). Advice welcome!
